I received a GECRB/CareCredit account for $3000 in dental work to be paid back at $250 per month for two years. Due to an error in posting the payment number, one month was skipped. When the notice from GECRB was finally received by me, I called to verify with my bank, then made the missed payment. Now I am being charged $530 in late charges. Each subsequent call has gone to an out of country call center. I am then referred to the Synchrony Bank Recovery Dept. When asked for a supervisor or fax number, I am told to log onto the website. My account does not appear and I am once again referred to the recovery dept. What recourse do I have to clear my account and credit report? Acct 6019183217203207...dutchq60@hotmail.com

I have recently received my CareCredit card which was recommended by my dentist office. First payment was due on Aug. 14th. This payment was mailed on Aug. 11th which was a Sunday. When I received my statement for Sept., I was charged a $35.00 late fee. They show that the check was posted on the 15th which the only way this would happen is the lack of the company not posting the check when received. This dentist is a friend of mine and will hear about this charge, which will also be reported to Better Business. I believe this is against the law procedure and I will be checking on this.

I have been trying to make my payment online and have not been able to, because the only screen the pops up is the one to update your information which I've already done over and over again. Need to make my payment before they get me for late charges. Please help...
